SaaS sustaintech company SustainLab enters partnership with Knowit
SaaS sustaintech company SustainLab has started a collaboration with Nordic consultancy firm Knowit. With SustainLab’s unique sustainability platform that provides companies and organisations with valuable insights into their sustainability work, and Knowit’s focus on innovation and digital solutions, this collaboration will make it easier for clients to measure and monitor their sustainability impact, identify the most effective measures and meet the tightening requirements in sustainability reporting.
To help more customers accelerate their sustainability efforts with the help of automated, data-driven analytics, Knowit has entered a strategic partnership with SustainLab, an exciting Swedish startup focused on sustainability data management.
“Sustainability is a key issue for Knowit, and with this collaboration, we get another tool to create sustainable business for our customers to take their sustainability work to a new level,” says Christel Holmquist, Head of Customer Offering Sustainable Business at Knowit (pictured above left).
SustainLab is a SaaS Sustainability Management platform that automates the collection, processing, analysis and visualization of sustainability data. The easy-to-use platform transforms raw data into clear graphs and reports, so that companies and organizations can accelerate their sustainability efforts with the help of better decision-making material.
“We help clients with everything from identifying what really makes a difference to measure, to defining the process to measure and track data, and automating it with digital support. This means companies can have insight into their sustainability data as often as any other business-critical data. Together with Knowit, we can help companies spend less time on data-handling and more on accelerating change," says Maria Svantemark, SustainLab's CEO and co-founder, and former Head of Sustainability at Findus Nordic (pictured above right).
Knowit has close to 375 management consultants including several sustainability strategists and taxonomy experts. One of the most common issues right now is the EU Taxonomy, a common classification system for environmentally sustainable economic activities.
“We are experiencing a greater demand for good digital tools for sustainability management, especially in the wake of the EU Taxonomy and the increased reporting requirements coming into force in 2022 and 2023. Many people are contacting us wondering what the EU Taxonomy will mean for them, how the Taxonomy Regulation should be interpreted in relation to their business and what data should be collected for the annual financial statements. The collaboration with SustainLab gives us another tool to solve the requirements of the taxonomy in an efficient and automated way,” says Christel Holmquist.
