What you will be doing
As an Account Executive at SustainLab, you will play a crucial role in the growth and success of our business. We seek a results-driven individual with a strong Sales and Sales management background. Your primary responsibility will be to create, build and nurture relationships with potential customers, driving sales from lead to deal closure.
This role offers a unique opportunity for the right candidate to transition into a Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) position in the long run if you are hungry enough to contribute to the company's strategic leadership.
Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a prospect to securing a deal
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the sustainability sector
Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline
Close deals through effective negotiation and relationship-building
Work with our partners to generate deals through them
Contribute to the continuous development of sales strategies, tactics, and processes
Work closely with the leadership team to align sales efforts with overall business objectives
Sales Management, Reporting and Analysis:
Lead the Sales team as it grows
Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities and act upon the insights
Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and optimization
Collaborate with other teams, including Marketing and Product development, to ensure a cohesive and customer-focused approach
What we’re looking for
The Account Executive we’re looking for is hungry to sell and really wants to create an impact for our clients, our company and beyond. We believe that with the right motivation, you can learn anything, but here are some qualifications we’re looking for:
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment
A good understanding of managing complex B2B sales cycles, where you interact with different personas in the buying group at the customer
A background in SaaS
Have been working in start ups/scale ups and thrive in that environment. You possess a scale up mentality.
A people person with strong communication skills and feels comfortable when approaching people via email, phone and face-to-face
Previous experience in sales management is a strong plus
Familiarity with sustainability practices is a plus, but we’re also here to support you while you learn
You’re proficient in Swedish and English. Note! For this role, Swedish is required
